Mission Search & Rescue had another successful recruiting campaign this year. Recruiting started in July and ended August 31, with a higher than average number of inquiries. After completing interviews, we took the potential recruits on a hike up Bear Mountain, had them work together on a stretcher carry and also complete a team building activity to build our portable repeater. It was a great day for everyone who participated and our next GSAR class was selected from this group. They will start the GSAR course in the next couple of weeks and the successful ones should graduate in March 2018.
