We are a group of unpaid professionals. Unlike the Fire Dept who are paid for calls and training, we have only our expenses covered while on task - and even then, only with prior approval. We receive no funding for new equipment or training. A lot of our operating funds actually come from the team members themselves donating meals and mileage expenses back to the team. This shows a lot of dedication on behalf of our members.
